Around the Couch
A downloadable game
'Around the Couch' is a 'Descended from the Queen' hack created for the Couch Dungeon Game Jam. It was inspired by the idea that a couch could be a metaphysical dungeon where one becomes trapped in their own thoughts. In this case, those trapping thoughts are the memories formed either while sitting on a couch, or being close to it.
In 'Around the Couch', the players are housemates gathering to decide the fate of their oft-used couch. Does it possess enough sentimental value that they decide to keep it, or has the time come for a new couch? The only way to know for sure is to come together and share some memories... Around the Couch.
NOTE: This initial release includes a printer friendly cut and paste/tape version with no artwork as well as a file of assets for use with a VTT application or site. I am working on an update that will have some 'Couch' cards to provide a bit of inspiration.
